Bordered by North Carolina and Georgia, South Carolina is known for a thriving tourism industry and historically significant involvement during the Civil War. The Battle of Fort Sumter marked the beginning of the Civil War and continues to be a favorite of tourists and historians alike.
Agriculture is a huge part of the economy in South Carolina. Cotton, poultry, cattle, and swine are all common agricultural exports in the state. In addition to that, the state benefits from Myrtle Beach, a large tourist hub along the state’s border with the Atlantic Ocean.
The South Carolina office provides services to communities covering water, wastewater, solid waste and sustainability issues. Working with a state with roots so tied in rural communities and agriculture, we are always thankful to make positive impacts to this great state and its people.
